Youth Soccer team manager. Creates lineups rosters and keeps player info
This application was developed by a youth soccer team coach/manager. The intent was to create and application that can quickly generate/regenerate player lineups and rosters. While the original intent was for soccer, it can easily be adapted to be used for any sports that has a setup of Forward/Midfield/Defense/Goalie (or even can be used without anyone in those positions).You can make generate roster automatically. The application will make a perfect roster with players never repeating positions and it balances all players. If a perfect roster is not possible, the application does the best ti can to make a roster where players are not repeating positions. Even if the roster that it generates is not ideal, the roster can be edited with a drag and drop interface.An additional feature is to store more information about each player. Including the players picture (to help you remember the names of all your players), parents phone number, and parents email. The player information screen also features a call, text, and email button allowing you to contact that players parents directly. Finally, once all player information is entered, the application will generate a mass text or email to all players parents.This app is free and will always be free, its made to help out coaches who are already volunteering their time for our youth. If you find errors or have suggestions on thing that would help, please let me know. Ill do what I can to update it.New additions.You can now save and bring back multiple rosterSaved rosters will be used for generating the positions in the next rosterIMPORTANT BUG FIX:People who were previously absent werent showing up on the roster. Keeps losing my roster, app is terrible.
Like the app, does exactly what I needed it to do. The only wish is that it had support for more players. The league we play in is small and the team I coach has 23 kids. Every week we split the kids so they play against different teams. It would have been nice to key all 23 kids into the app and just mark some absent for one team.
This is exactly what Ive been looking for to help create a roster with equal playing time for my son's youth basketball team! The league is very strict with regards to everyone playing as much as possible and this app makes it super easy to stay on top of it! Is there anyway to change the positions to reflect basketball?! That would be the only thing I'd need that it doesn't have!
Awesome and simple. A few bugs. For example when you save a roster it doesn't close the roster view. It just lights up blue and keeps creating duplicate rosters. Also a bug if you save a roster while one of the substitutions is in edit mode, it gets locked in edit mode next time you open the roster, and you're unable to edit it. But mostly very nice and for free you can't complain too much. Nice app
This is a great tool. Perfect tool for coaching kids soccer. I wish it gives you an option to play everyone every position or equal playing time. I have 10 players... And 4 positions... I want every player to play 1 position 1 time. For some reason some players are added 5 times while others 3.... Other than that, great app
Could you update the app to allow for larger rosters? I have 50 kids betweem two teams for lacrosse.
Everything works perfect after the last update. I can't wait to use it during the next game. This is exactly what I have been looking for.
Great app for youth soccer. It's been running good for a couple seasons but now it just spins when I select create roster. Same issue Gregory recently reported. Please fix, thanks!
